Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visitors of Jiao.life and clients engaging the services of Jiao Ltd.

Most services require upfront payment via Stripe, PayPal, or BACS.
For invoiced services, we require full payment of services within 7 days of the invoice date.
In the event of late payment Jiao Ltd reserves the right to apply a late payment admin fee of £30, with an additional statutory interest at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated from the invoice date until payment is received.
- For instance, if your invoice is for £1,000 and the current Bank of England base rate is 5%, the total interest rate would be 13% (8% + 5%). This would result in an annual interest charge of:
  - Annual Statutory Interest: £1,000 x 0.13 = £130.00
  - Daily Interest: £130.00 ÷ 365 days = approximately £0.36 per day
- Therefore, if payment is 30 days late, the total interest charged would be:
- Total Late Fee: £0.36 x 30 days = approximately £10.80
We reserve the right to suspend services until payment is received. Recourses to small claims courts is made unpaid services exceeding 6 months from their due date.
Invoice terms may be negotiated depending on the service.

Therapy sessions and consultations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 100% charge.
Training and purchases: Refunds will be available where the product has not been used, and administrative and postage costs may be deducted. Online training accessed is non-refundable.
Contracted services: Recurring agreements are subject to the contract terms.

These Terms are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of UK courts.
